Cooking workshop with Chef Ago Špacapan

We have prepared cooking workshops for you under the guidance of Chef Ago Špacapan. With his masterful knowledge and confident command of culinary techniques, Ago leads you into the world of traditional Karst cuisine, refined with a touch of modernity.

The workshop is suitable for everyone who loves gastronomy and enjoys serving their creations to friends, acquaintances, or family members. Join us and discover how you, too, can become a true master of cooking.

WHAT’S ON THE MENU?

Our cooking workshop offers you an entertaining and educational experience lasting from 4.00 pm to 10.00 pm.

The programme includes:

• Welcome: We begin with a visit to Miro’s cellar and warm up with a shot
• Get to know Špacapanova hiša: presentation of our house and a tour of the premises
• Cooking challenge: under the guidance of master chef Ago Špacapan, we will prepare a four-course dinner together, inspired by the traditional flavours of the Karst
• Wine pairings: each course of the dinner will be accompanied by a selected wine, and you will learn how to create the right pairings
• Setting the mood: preparing the table for the shared dinner
• Shared feast: a final dinner in the company of Chef Ago Špacapan
• Recognition: at the end, you will receive a certificate of successful participation

WHAT WILL I TAKE HOME?

In our workshop, you will learn:

• Dish preparation: you will learn to prepare dishes at the level of fine dining
• Local ingredients: you will discover how to use simple local ingredients and turn them into first-class creations
• Modern techniques: you will gain skills for preparing more demanding dishes using modern methods
